Bad Makeup

Looking for examples of bad makeup?  There are many bad makeup pics out there on the net, unfortunately not everyone knows how to apply it or some people just have extremely poor taste as far as what is good and what is bad.

Makeup is supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not stifle it.  A lot of people though when using makeup tend to go a little overboard, much like with plastic surgery, the end result is a face that would look better off were nothing to have been done in the first place.

It can be very easy to get caught up in doing yourself up and become a victim of bad makeup, so it’s best to keep things light and not over the top.

One of the key mistakes some women make when doing their makeup is to play up more than 1 features at a time.  It’s best to only pick one or else you will just have overkill.  Christina Aguilera has been a victim of this in one of her photos where she had dramatic looking eyes, lips and cheeks.  She just way overdid it and now her bad makeup picture will forever grace make-up tragedy sites all across the Internet.

To help you out a bit, here are a few tips so that you never wind up making a mess of things with your makeup:

1.  Don’t Over-Pluck Your Eyebrows

A lot of women get carried away with plucking the eyebrows but nothing is stranger to a guy than a girl who has eyebrows that are too thin, so thin they’re barely noticeable or starting to look almost alien-like in shape.

If you feel you’ve overdone your eyebrows, you’re going to have to put the tweezers away for a month and let it all grow back in so you can correct your mistakes with a fresh new canvas.  Sure, it can be painful waiting for that to happen, but it’s the price that must be paid for this mistake.

2.  Don’t Make Your Lip Color Too Dark

Colors like brown, black purple or maroon can look aging.  Don’t line the lips with dark lip liner, especially If you’re not going to be filling them in.  If you really must do dark, try using a lip gloss or a sheer version of what you normally do.

3.  Blend Properly

A lot of women don’t blend their makeup well enough, you don’t want your foundation to end with a line on your jaw.  Blending is key to making things unnoticeable, if you don’t do it properly, it will look like you’re wearing more makeup than you actually are.

There are many other bad makeup issues I could go on about but these should get you started.
