Makeup Station

Interested in getting yourself a makeup station?  There are varying degrees of a makeup station, you can either get the cheaper variety which is just a “train case” or you can get the large and expensive station which is pretty big and can hold a lot.  We’re going to be going over both makeup station options so that you can pick the one that is right for you and your situation:

There is a built-in clock, hot iron holder, a service shelf, pretty much everything you need to keep all your tools and accessories in 1 spot.  Once you’re done with this, you can fold it all up, push down the top lid and it becomes an unobtrusive bathroom cabinet. 

This is made from hardwood and veneers and has a vanilla finish.  It measures in at 28”W x 20.5”D x 45.5”H.  So if your bathroom is cluttered and you have room for one of these, you may opt to pick this up to better organize everything. 

This thing is attractive, has built in AC power, lots of storage space and is well made and takes up little floor space.  If you want it though, it will cost a hefty sum at $1,299.95.

2.  Sephora Makeup Station

Here’s a much cheaper option at only $70.  The large tray is 12x8x2”, medium tray is 8x6x2” and the small tray is 6x4x2”.

This will hold all your makeup and makeup brushes.  If you’re currently keeping your makeup in a bag and sifting through what you want, this will help to better organize everything.  You’ll be able to see what you want when you want it. 

On Sephora, this box has a rating of 3.5/5 stars from 10 reviewers, it is a decent enough choice.

3.  Sephora Brand Metro Train Case – Pink

Here’s one of the best options as it is economical and also well designed.  This is large enough to hold everything without you stuffing and cramming stuff in, it is beautifully colored, of high quality and has adjustable compartments as well.  This is really a great way to organize your make-up, it’s been given 5/5 stars by 5 reviewers on Amazon. 

The only complaint you could make about it is that the trays are not removable, other than that, it’s a great kit.
